Homemade Toothpaste

This is the first DIY recipe I tried and loved!

As long as I can remember I had sensitive teeth, extreme temperatures and alcohol really made me cringe.

After I stopped using store bought toothpaste I no longer dealt with sensitivity!

I heard about turmeric as a toothpaste, sounded like a great idea! Days later my sink was stained yellow…

I began to experiment and came up with this easy and equal recipe.

Homemade Toothpaste for whitening and sensitivity:

4 tablespoons baking soda 4 tablespoons melted coconut oil 4 tablespoons bentonite clay 20 drops of essential oil Add water to get the consistency you like

***I usually mix all the ingredients and add to a small jar with a lid.

Make sure when creating the mixture you do not use a metal spoon it will not work well with the clay. Wooden spoon works best for me.

This above recipe is enough to keep at home but I like to have one in my gym bag and my travel bag. As long as everything is equal in measurements it should come out fine!

Hope this helps improve your dental hygiene.
